I’ve been ordained since 2019, originally through my Reiki practice, but this work became real for me when I had my own ceremony.

 

We eloped in the Olympic Peninsula, and our officiant met us exactly where we were—no pressure, no expectations, and no judgment. She created a ceremony that felt like ours, even though it wasn’t traditional.
